  4. VFS will process the visa stamping on the passport.
  5. The stamped passport will then be couriered back to the passenger.

Required Documents

Documents for China Visa application

  1. Original passport and old passports, if any.
  2. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of return in India, with a minimum of two blank pages.
  3. Confirmed return air tickets (Ex - Mumbai / Ex- Delhi only).
  4. Day-wise itinerary of your stay in China.
  5. Visa application form duly filled and signed manually.
  6. 2 recent passport-size colour photographs taken against a white background with matte-finish without specs and sunglasses (size 48 mm x 33 mm and 80% face close-up).
  7. Note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old, scanned/stapled and not used in any of the previous visas..
  8. Covering letter mentioning details of travel, details of the traveller, purpose of visit and duration of stay. The letter should be duly signed by the authorised signatory with a company stamp and addressed to the ‘Consulate General Of China, Mumbai or New Delhi as per the jurisdiction..
  9. Original bank statements reflecting transactions of the last 6 months with a minimum balance of Rs 1,60,000 per traveller, duly attested and signed by a bank official on every pages.
  10. Hotel confirmation details on hotel letter head with hotel seal and sign.
  11. Day to day travel itinerary.
  12. If your passport has not been issued by Maharashtra or Karnataka, and you have submitted your application from Mumbai, one of the following documents will be required (Any 2).
  13. Valid Register Lease and License Agreement.
  14. Valid Register Rent Agreement.
  15. Letter from company mentioning address Allotment Letter need authorize person name, signature, designation and company stamp.
  16. Telephone / Electricity bill of last month.
  17. Original society letter with mention authorize person name, signature, designation and Society Stamp.
  18. Apart from the above-mentioned documents, the applicant might have to submit additional documents as and when requested by the Consulate.

Covering letter from the company in India
Documents of the commercial activity issued by a trade partner in China, or a trade fair invitation. The invitation letter should contain:
Information of the applicant - name, gender and date of birth
Details such as purpose of visit, travel dates, and financial documents

Do I need travel insurance for my China visa application?
No, travel insurance is not a mandatory requirement to visit China, although it is advised to get one to avoid any mishaps.

What should my invitation letter include for China tourist visa application?

Can I extend my China tourist visa?
You may apply to a local public security authority to extend your visa's “duration of stay” before it expires. However, this doesn't automatically mean that the application will be approved. Overstaying violates China's laws and will be punished.
