Visa Overview

E-Visa

  • The Philippines offers an eVisa / electronic visa system for eligible travelers, allowing applicants to apply online for entry without visiting an embassy or consulate (availability depends on nationality and current policy).
  • The eVisa is generally issued for tourism, business visits, short-term travel, or family visits. Applicants complete the process online by filling in personal details, passport information, and travel plans, and by uploading required documents.
  • Once approved, the visa is issued electronically and sent via email or portal. Travelers must carry a printed or digital copy along with their passport during travel.
  • The validity, number of entries (single/multiple), and permitted stay duration depend on the visa type granted by Philippine authorities.
  • Even with an approved eVisa, final entry into the Philippines is subject to immigration clearance at the port of entry.
