Important Information

Activity Policies

Respecting the Gardens:

  • Plant Life: Visitors are prohibited from plucking, damaging, or climbing on any plant life within the gardens.
  • Littering: A strict anti-littering policy is enforced. Visitors must dispose of garbage in designated bins.
  • Picnics: Picnic furniture is not allowed in any part of the Gardens.
  • Fires and BBQ: BBQs and any form of open fire, including lit candles, are prohibited.
  • Smoking: Gardens by the Bay is a smoke-free zone. 

Prohibited Activities:

  • Pets: While dogs are allowed in the outdoor gardens, they are not permitted in the Conservatories, OCBC Skyway, and the Children's Garden. 
  • Wheeled Activities: Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, roller skates, and similar items are not allowed in most areas of the gardens. 
  • Water Activities: Swimming, fishing, and kite flying are prohibited. 
  • Commercial Photography: Commercial photography or filming requires special permission and may be chargeable. 
  • Aerial Devices: Aerial devices like remote-controlled cameras, planes, and helicopters are prohibited. 

Other Important Policies:

  • Food and Drinks: Consumption of food and drinks is not allowed in the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. 
  • Accessibility: Wheelchairs (including motorized ones) and seated mobility scooters are allowed. 
  • Dress Code: Comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended for the warm and humid climate. 
  • Conservatories: Dress code is casual, but it is advisable to bring a light jacket for the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, where temperatures are maintained at 23°C to 25°C. 
  • Events:Gardens by the Bay hosts various events throughout the year, so it's a good idea to check for special occasions.

  • Changes to Operations: The Gardens reserves the right to change operating hours, close or restrict access to attractions without prior notice or compensation due to capacity, weather, special events, or other reasons. 
  • Amendments: Gardens by the Bay can amend or add to the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. 
  • Website Terms of Use: These apply to Gardens by the Bay's websites, including ticketing, membership, and volunteer registration platforms. 
  • Privacy Policy: Gardens by the Bay collects personal data through various interactions, including website use, and outlines how this data is handled.
Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time. 
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted. 
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
