Activity Overview

  • SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is a large indoor marine life theme park located on Yas Island, designed to offer an immersive journey through the world’s oceans while combining entertainment, education, and conservation in a single destination. 

  • Opened in May 2023, it is recognized as one of the largest and most advanced indoor marine parks in the world and the first SeaWorld park outside the United States. The entire attraction is built around the concept of “One Ocean,” which highlights how all oceans are interconnected and how marine ecosystems depend on balance and protection. 

  • Inside the massive climate-controlled building, visitors move through multiple themed realms that represent different marine environments such as tropical seas, icy Arctic and Antarctic regions, deep ocean habitats, and the local Arabian Gulf ecosystem. 

  • Each zone features realistic habitats, massive aquariums, underwater viewing tunnels, and carefully designed environments that house thousands of marine animals including sharks, manta rays, dolphins, sea turtles, penguins, walruses, and a wide variety of fish species. Beyond showcasing marine life, the park also focuses strongly on education and conservation, offering interactive exhibits, live presentations, and research-driven programs that teach visitors about ocean protection and environmental awareness. 

  • Along with its aquarium experiences, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi also includes a few themed rides and attractions that enhance the storytelling experience, making it a mix of aquarium, zoo, and light theme park all in one. Overall, it provides visitors with a unique opportunity to explore the underwater world in an indoor, comfortable environment while learning about the importance of preserving marine life for the future.

Activity Policies
  1. Valid Ticket Required: Entry is allowed only with a valid same-day admission ticket.
  2. Security Check: All guests must pass bag and security screening at entry.
  3. Child Supervision: Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  4. Prohibited Items: Outside food, alcohol, sharp objects, drones, and hazardous items are not allowed inside.
  5. Animal Respect Rules: Do not touch aquarium glass, feed animals, or disturb habitats.
  6. Photography Rules: Photography is allowed in most areas, but flash is restricted in sensitive animal zones.
  7. Ride Restrictions: Some attractions have height, age, and health restrictions; follow all posted signs.
  8. Hygiene & Safety: Guests must follow hygiene rules, especially in interactive or touch zones.
  9. No Littering Policy: Waste must be disposed of in designated bins; environmental protection is strictly enforced.
  10. Staff Instructions: All visitors must follow instructions from park staff and lifeguards at all times.
  11. Operating Hours Compliance: Guests must adhere to park opening and closing times.
  12. Accessibility Support: The park provides accessibility services, but certain experiences may have limitations.

Cancellation Policy
  1. Once a ticket is purchased, it is generally non-cancellable.

  2. Tickets are non-refundable in normal cases.

  3. Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold.

  4. If eligible, date changes are allowed instead of cancellation.

  5. Date changes must usually be requested before 7:00 PM the day before visit.

  6. A fee (commonly around AED 50 per person) may apply for date changes.

  7. Changes/refund-related requests are handled via Yas Concierge support.

  8. No-show tickets are considered used and not refunded.

  9. Some special tickets/experiences may have stricter non-refundable rules.

  10. In rare cases, management may allow exceptions (promotions or special conditions), but not guaranteed.
