Columbia Pictures Aquaverse is a large Hollywood-themed water and adventure park located near Pattaya, Thailand, developed in collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment. It is known as the world’s first water park built entirely around Columbia Pictures movie franchises, where each zone recreates scenes, characters, and settings from popular films. The park was redesigned from the former Cartoon Network Amazone and now operates as a full-scale entertainment complex combining water attractions, amusement rides, and immersive movie-themed environments.
The park is divided into multiple themed zones, each inspired by a different Hollywood movie universe. For example, the Ghostbusters area features spooky water coasters and themed structures, Jumanji offers jungle-style rafting slides and adventure courses, Hotel Transylvania provides a colorful and family-friendly splash zone for children, while Zombieland focuses on high-thrill extreme slides including steep drop attractions. In addition, there are entertainment sections like wave pools with live shows, music, and large LED screens, as well as dry attractions such as go-kart racing inspired by “Bad Boys,” mini-golf, and surfing simulators. The overall design blends storytelling with physical experiences, making visitors feel like they are moving through different movie worlds.
Beyond rides, Aquaverse is built as a full-day destination offering a mix of relaxation and adrenaline activities. Families can enjoy kid-safe water playgrounds, lazy rivers, and gentle slides, while thrill-seekers can experience some of the tallest and fastest water rides in the region. The park also hosts seasonal events, performances, and themed entertainment to enhance the cinematic atmosphere. Located about 15–20 minutes from central Pattaya in the Na Jomtien area, it is one of Thailand’s most unique attractions, combining Hollywood storytelling with tropical water park fun to create an immersive entertainment experience.
