Visit the historic Shey Palace, the former summer capital of Ladakh, followed by the impressive Thiksey Monastery, known for its stunning architecture and panoramic views. Continue to Hemis Monastery, the largest monastery in Ladakh, and explore the Stok Palace Museum, established in the 14th century, which showcases royal artifacts and history. Also visit Sindhu Ghat, situated upstream of the Indus River near Shey Palace. The Indus River originates near Mansarovar Lake in Tibet, flows through Leh Valley, enters India, and later Pakistan.
