Upon arrival at Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station, you will be warmly received and assisted with your transfer to the beautiful hill station of Shimla. Enjoy a scenic drive through the winding mountain roads, surrounded by lush green valleys, pine forests, and charming hillside villages. On arrival in Shimla, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. Later, if time permits, visit the famous The Mall Road, the lively heart of the town, known for its colonial architecture, local handicraft shops, cafés, and vibrant atmosphere. You may enjoy leisurely shopping, taste local snacks, or simply stroll along the ridge while admiring the pleasant mountain views. In the evening, return to the hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner. Shimla
After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing in Shimla. Drive to the scenic hill station of Kufri, located about 13 km away, known for its beautiful Himalayan views, yak and horse rides, and trekking to Mahasu Peak. During winter, Kufri becomes a popular skiing destination. Later, return to Shimla and visit popular attractions including Mall Road, The Ridge, the historic Christ Church, Jakhoo Temple (by local cab), and Lakkar Bazaar, famous for wooden handicrafts and local shopping. In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner. Overnight stay in Shimla.

To book any Domestic Holiday or travel services, a person has to make an initial non-refundable deposit of Rs. 2,499/- per person. In case a person want to book air-tickets / train tickets as part of his tour package, 100% payment is required as the time of booking. Balance payment is to be paid at least 15 days prior to date of departure. 

Cancellation Rules: Cancellations of a tour package must be intimated to us in writing / Email & cancellation charges applicable are as follows: 

  • 21 Days or more prior to the departure or non-payment of balance amount- Rs.2,499/- per person.
  • 20-15 Days prior to the departure 25% of the tour cost.
  • 14-07 Days prior to the departure of the tour 50% of the total tour cost.
  • 07-04 Days prior to the departure of the tour 75% of the total tour cost.
  • 03 Days prior or a “No Show” on the tour 100% of the total tour cost.

For the cancellation of services other than tour package (such as air-tickets/train-tickets/cruises/safaris, etc) booked with Oxford Travels will attract cancellation charges as per the policy of respective supplier of the services. Oxford Travels does not take responsibility for fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through Oxford Travels.
