Upon arrival at Paro Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. On arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk through Thimphu town, exploring local markets, quaint streets, and soaking in the serene ambiance of Bhutan’s capital. Overnight stay at the hotel in Thimphu.
Sightseeing Included
After breakfast at your hotel in Thimphu, begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to Kuensel Phodrang, a serene location offering panoramic views of the valley and home to a massive Buddha statue. Continue to the National Memorial Chorten, an important religious monument, and explore the Folk Heritage Museum, showcasing Bhutanese traditional life and culture. In the afternoon, visit Sangaygang Viewpoint for breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, followed by the historic Changangkha Monastery. Proceed to the Takin Preserve Centre, where you can observe Bhutan’s national animal, the Takin, in its natural habitat. Conclude the day with a visit to Tashichho Dzong, the impressive fortress and monastery that houses the central government offices and is a symbol of Bhutanese heritage. Overnight stay at the hotel in Thimphu.

After breakfast at your hotel in Thimphu, check out and proceed to Paro. En route, visit Tamchog Lhakhang, a 13th-century temple built by Thangthong Gyalpo, famously known as the Iron Bridge Builder. Perched atop a hill, reach the temple by crossing an ancient-style bridge, offering a glimpse into Bhutan’s traditional architecture and spiritual heritage. Upon arrival in Paro, check in at your hotel and take some time to relax. In the afternoon, explore the Ta Dzong National Museum, which houses an impressive collection of artworks, religious thangkas, and historical relics. Continue to the majestic Rinpung Dzong, meaning "Fortress of the Heap of Jewels," which currently serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro, showcasing Bhutanese fortress architecture at its finest. To Book any International holiday Or Travel Services, a Person has to make an initial non-refundable deposit of Rs. 19,999/- Per Person. In case a Person want to book air-tickets as part of his tour package , 100% payment is required as the time of booking. Balance payment is to be paid at least 15 days prior to date of departure.
Cancellation Rules: Cancellations of a tour package must be intimated to us in writing / Email & cancellation charges applicable are as follows:
- 21 days or more prior to the departure or non-payment of balance amount- Rs.19,999/- per person
- 20-15 days prior to the departure - 25% of the tour cost
- 14 - 7 days prior to the departure of the tour - 50% of the total tour cost
- 7 - 4 days prior to the departure of the tour - 75% of the total tour cost
- 3 days prior or a “No Show” on the tour - 100% of the total tour cost
For the cancellation of services other than tour package (such as air-tickets/cruises/ safaris, etc) booked with Oxford Travels will attract cancellation charges as per the policy of respective supplier of the services. Oxford Travels does not take responsibility for fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through Oxford Travels.

- Hotel check-in time is 14:00 hrs. and check-out time is 12:00 hrs.

- As a travel company, we are not responsible for any changes or cancellations in flights made by the airlines.
- Cancellations due to any natural calamity or a pandemic leading to Force Majeure or lockdown in the destination resulting in flight or hotel cancellation will be subject to refund policies of the airline, hotel, etc. We will strive to obtain a maximum refund.
