After breakfast, depart by surface for the historic city of Jodhpur. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Later, proceed for local sightseeing including a visit to Mandore Gardens, the former capital of Marwar, known for its beautiful gardens, royal cenotaphs, and historic temples. Continue to Balsamand Lake, a serene artificial lake surrounded by lush gardens and scenic views. Jodhpur

After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur, starting with a visit to the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India, renowned for its impressive architecture, grand palaces, and panoramic views of the Blue City. Continue to Jaswant Thada, a beautiful white marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, known for its intricate carvings and peaceful surroundings. Later, visit Mandore Gardens, the former capital of Marwar, famous for its historic cenotaphs, temples, and well-maintained gardens. In the afternoon, take a short excursion to Bishnoi Village to experience the traditional rural lifestyle of Rajasthan. The countryside south of Jodhpur is dotted with villages where mud and thatch huts are home to the Bishnoi community as well as local potters and weavers, offering a glimpse into their culture, craftsmanship, and harmonious relationship with nature. After breakfast, the morning is free for leisure. Guests may relax at the hotel or explore the nearby areas at their own pace. At 12:00 hrs, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport or railway station in Jodhpur for your onward journey.

  • AC will not work in Hilly regions.
  • We will not be held responsible for any delays in rail/airline leading to misconnecting of onward flights/train.
  • If any airline/train is delayed or cancelled, Oxford Travels is not responsible for any compensation for hotels, meals, sightseeing or any other claim.

To book any Domestic Holiday or travel services, a person has to make an initial non-refundable deposit of Rs. 2,499/- per person. In case a person want to book air-tickets / train tickets as part of his tour package, 100% payment is required as the time of booking. Balance payment is to be paid at least 15 days prior to date of departure. 

Cancellation Rules: Cancellations of a tour package must be intimated to us in writing / Email & cancellation charges applicable are as follows: 

  • 21 Days or more prior to the departure or non-payment of balance amount- Rs.2,499/- per person.
  • 20-15 Days prior to the departure 25% of the tour cost.
  • 14-07 Days prior to the departure of the tour 50% of the total tour cost.
  • 07-04 Days prior to the departure of the tour 75% of the total tour cost.
  • 03 Days prior or a “No Show” on the tour 100% of the total tour cost.

For the cancellation of services other than tour package (such as air-tickets/train-tickets/cruises/safaris, etc) booked with Oxford Travels will attract cancellation charges as per the policy of respective supplier of the services. Oxford Travels does not take responsibility for fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through Oxford Travels.
