Upon arrival at Colombo Airport, meet your representative and proceed to your coach for the journey to Kandy. Kandy

Upon arrival in Kandy, proceed to visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, the city’s most important attraction and one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Sri Lanka. This revered temple houses a sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha and dates back to the 16th century, with several enhancements added over time, including a striking golden canopy. Visitors can witness the daily rituals and offerings performed at the shrine. Please note that a modest dress code is required when entering the temple. The temple complex is further enhanced by its beautiful octagonal pavilion, adding to its architectural grandeur. Later, enjoy a city tour of Kandy, including a visit to the local market, where you can experience the vibrant atmosphere and shop for regional products. Continue to an Arts & Crafts showroom to explore traditional Sri Lankan handicrafts. Drive along the scenic Upper Lake Road for a panoramic view of Kandy Lake and its surroundings, and pass by the picturesque University of Peradeniya, known for its beautiful campus. Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as “Little England” for its cool climate and colonial charm. En route, visit the sacred Anjaneyar (Hanuman) Temple at Ramboda, an important site on the Ramayana Trail, associated with Lord Hanuman. Continue your journey with a visit to a Ceylon Tea Factory, where you can learn about the tea-making process—from plucking to processing—and enjoy the scenic views of lush green tea plantations. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya by evening and check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Colombo, the vibrant commercial capital of Sri Lanka. The tour includes a visit to the 100-year-old Clock Tower, followed by a drive past the British-era colonial buildings that reflect the city’s historic past. You will also visit prominent Hindu and Buddhist temples, showcasing the rich cultural diversity of Sri Lanka. Continue to the iconic Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), an important landmark of the city. To Book any International holiday Or Travel Services, a Person has to make an initial non-refundable deposit of Rs. 19,999/- Per Person. In case a Person want to book air-tickets as part of his tour package , 100% payment is required as the time of booking. Balance payment is to be paid at least 15 days prior to date of departure.

Cancellation Rules: Cancellations of a tour package must be intimated to us in writing / Email & cancellation charges applicable are as follows:

  •  21 days or more prior to the departure or non-payment of balance amount- Rs.19,999/- per person
  •  20-15 days prior to the departure - 25% of the tour cost
  •  14 - 7 days prior to the departure of the tour - 50% of the total tour cost
  •  7 - 4 days prior to the departure of the tour - 75% of the total tour cost
  •  3 days prior or a “No Show” on the tour - 100% of the total tour cost

For the cancellation of services other than tour package (such as air-tickets/cruises/ safaris, etc) booked with Oxford Travels will attract cancellation charges as per the policy of respective supplier of the services. Oxford Travels does not take responsibility for fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through Oxford Travels.
