Depart for Glasgow (approximate driving time is seven hours). En-route stop for lunch at Gretna Green, the UK’s most famous place to get married and home of the world famous Iron Forgeries. On arrival into Glasgow, enjoy the sights, which will include Glasgow Cathedral, Georges Square, University of Glasgow and the City Chambers.

Drive to Loch Lomond where you can enjoy an optional boat cruise; here appreciate the picturesque views of the highlands, whilst indulging in a warm cup of tea or coffee. Begin your scenic drive to Fort William, to visit the Nevis Range. On arrival enjoy the ascent to the summit by cable car whilst admiring the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding mountains (cable car to Nevis Range is weather permitting). You will also have a photo stop at Commando Memorial & Neptune's Staircase which is the longest staircase lock in Britain lifting boats

Today drive to Edinburgh, en route visit a local whisky distillery for a short tour. Arrive into Edinburgh and visit the famous Edinburgh Castle with its fine state apartments and ancient Scottish crown jewels. Descend the hill and cross the Royal Mile to see St Giles’ Cathedral and its crown shaped spire. Continuing the journey, we cross the River Forth over the Forth Road Bridge to enjoy a spectacular view of the Forth Rail Bridge. Later stop for a photo stop at Falkirk Wheel which is a rotating boat lift in Scotland, connecting the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal. The world’s first & only rotating boat lift was opened by her Majesty, The Queen in 2002.
Note: Whisky distillery may be covered on day two.

Depart for Lake District famous for its lakes, forests and mountains. Continue your journey through the Lake District to enjoy a beautiful scenic cruise on the largest body of water in the Lake District area, Lake Windermere. Followed by a Heritage Steam Train ride from Lakeside to Haverthwaite. Later, depart for London and bid farewell to the group.

To Book any International holiday Or Travel Services, a Person has to make an initial non-refundable deposit of Rs. 19,999/- Per Person. In case a Person want to book air-tickets as part of his tour package , 100% payment is required as the time of booking. Balance payment is to be paid at least 15 days prior to date of departure.

Cancellation Rules: Cancellations of a tour package must be intimated to us in writing / Email & cancellation charges applicable are as follows:

  •  21 days or more prior to the departure or non-payment of balance amount- Rs.19,999/- per person
  •  20-15 days prior to the departure - 25% of the tour cost
  •  14 - 7 days prior to the departure of the tour - 50% of the total tour cost
  •  7 - 4 days prior to the departure of the tour - 75% of the total tour cost
  •  3 days prior or a “No Show” on the tour - 100% of the total tour cost

For the cancellation of services other than tour package (such as air-tickets/cruises/ safaris, etc) booked with Oxford Travels will attract cancellation charges as per the policy of respective supplier of the services. Oxford Travels does not take responsibility for fees relating to the issuance and / or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through Oxford Travels.

  • You will receive the Booking Confirmation with flight ticket within 24 hours of the payment made.  
  • Rooms and rates are subject to availability at the time of booking.
  • Flight and hotel fares may change at any point in time. 
  • Your earliest confirmation is highly appreciated. 
  • Hotel check-in time is 14:00 hrs. and check-out time is 12:00 hrs.
  • In the case of an early arrival before the check-in time, rooms must be booked from the previous night with corresponding charges to guarantee early check-in. Late checkout is subject to availability. 
  • As a travel company, we are not responsible for any changes or cancellations in flights made by the airlines. 
  • Cancellations due to any natural calamity or a pandemic leading to Force Majeure or lockdown in the destination resulting in flight or hotel cancellation will be subject to refund policies of the airline, hotel, etc. We will strive to obtain a maximum refund.
