Activity Overview

  • The Singapore Cable Car is a famous aerial gondola system that connects mainland Singapore (Mount Faber and HarbourFront) to Sentosa Island. It is both a transport system and a tourist attraction, offering panoramic views of the city skyline, harbour, and Sentosa’s beaches and attractions.
  • It was first opened in 1974 and is known as one of Singapore’s most scenic ways to travel to Sentosa. The cable car runs across two main lines—the Mount Faber Line and the Sentosa Line—linking multiple stations across the city and island.
  • During the ride, visitors enjoy bird’s-eye views of Singapore, including Keppel Harbour, Marina Bay skyline in the distance, tropical greenery, and major attractions like Universal Studios Singapore and Adventure Cove Waterpark.
  • Today, it is popular among tourists for its relaxing aerial experience, photography opportunities, and as a unique way to travel between attractions on Sentosa Island. The cabins are fully enclosed, air-conditioned, and designed to offer wide glass views for sightseeing.
  • Overall, the Singapore Cable Car is considered one of Singapore’s must-do scenic experiences, combining transport convenience with sightseeing and adventure.
