  5. Passengers should not lean over or climb on railings and safety barriers.
  6. Food and drinks are subject to the rules of the individual cruise operator.
  7. Cruises may be delayed, changed or cancelled due to weather, river conditions or safety requirements.
  8. Passengers are expected to respect the vessel, crew, other guests and the surrounding environment.
Terms & Conditions
  1. Valid Ticket: Passengers must have a valid ticket or voucher to board the vessel. By purchasing a ticket or boarding the ship, passengers accept the applicable terms and conditions.
  2. Ticket Validity: Tickets are valid for the journey and route specified at the time of booking. Commercial resale of tickets above their stated price is prohibited.
  3. Boarding: Passengers must arrive at the designated landing stage in sufficient time for boarding. Boarding is subject to the scheduled departure time.
  4. Ticket Presentation: Print-at-home tickets must be presented in a clear and readable format. An unreadable ticket may require the purchase of a replacement ticket.
  5. Schedule Changes: Cruise schedules and routes may be changed or cancelled due to operational circumstances, navigation conditions, weather or other factors. Passengers should check the latest service updates before travelling.
  6. Safety & Crew Instructions: Passengers must follow all safety instructions and directions given by the captain and crew during the cruise.
  7. Luggage & Personal Belongings: Passengers must follow crew instructions regarding the storage of luggage and personal belongings. KD is not responsible for loss or damage caused by failure to follow applicable instructions.
  8. Children & Mobility Equipment: Pushchairs and wheelchairs may be carried free of charge depending on available onboard storage space. The crew may designate a specific storage area.
  9. Prohibited Items: Dangerous, explosive, inflammable, poisonous or corrosive items and other prohibited articles may not be brought aboard.
  10. Dogs: Dogs may be permitted on board subject to the applicable fare and KD regulations.
  11. Food & Drinks: Food and beverages are available onboard according to the services offered on the selected cruise. Passengers must follow the applicable onboard rules.
  12. Cancellation & Refunds: Refund and cancellation rights depend on the type of ticket or service purchased. Tickets for leisure services with a fixed date or time may be excluded from the statutory withdrawal right.
  13. Visitor Conduct: Passengers must behave respectfully and must not disturb other guests, crew members or the safe operation of the vessel.
Cancellation Policy
  1. Online tickets are generally binding and cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded.
  2. For regular scheduled and panoramic cruises, completely unused tickets may be returned on the day of issue for a fare refund.
  3. For partially unused tickets, a pro-rata refund may be requested during the scheduled sailing time, based on the unused portion of the journey.
  4. A 20% processing fee (minimum €3) applies to refunds. This fee is waived when the cruise is cancelled or there are ship-related timetable deviations.
  5. Fireworks cruises, including Rhine in Flames, and New Year's Eve cruises are generally non-refundable.
  6. For event cruises, the cancellation conditions stated in the booking confirmation apply.
