Visitors can experience the Mountain Gondola, which carries guests from the base station to approximately 650 metres above sea level, offering breathtaking views across the surrounding Highlands. Activity Policies
  1. Visitors must follow all safety instructions and directions from Nevis Range staff.
  2. Visitors using the mountain gondola must remain seated and follow boarding and disembarking instructions.
  3. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult.
  4. Visitors participating in mountain activities must use the designated routes and follow applicable safety requirements.
  5. Weather conditions can change quickly; activities and lift operations may be delayed, suspended or cancelled for safety reasons.
  6. Visitors must not enter restricted areas or interfere with lift and mountain operations.
  7. Appropriate clothing and footwear are strongly recommended for mountain activities.
  8. Visitors should respect the natural environment and must not litter or damage vegetation.
  9. Dogs are subject to the rules for individual areas and activities; assistance dogs are permitted where applicable.
Terms & Conditions
  1. Valid Ticket: Visitors must have a valid ticket for the selected Nevis Range activity. Gondola tickets are issued with a QR code that can be scanned from a smartphone or printed ticket.
  2. Ticket Transfer: Tickets are non-transferable and should only be purchased through the official Nevis Range ticket office or online shop.
  3. Gondola Operations: The Mountain Gondola operates daily, weather permitting. Visitors should check the official Mountain Report before travelling.
  4. Operating Hours: Current official operating information lists the first gondola up at 9:30 AM, last gondola up at 4:45 PM and last gondola down at 5:00 PM, subject to change.
  5. Weather Conditions: Gondola services and other mountain activities may be suspended or shortened because of adverse weather or safety conditions.
  6. Refunds & Exchanges: Tickets are generally non-refundable when the Gondola is operating, even if poor weather shortens the experience. If the Gondola does not operate because of weather, tickets may be refunded or exchanged for another day, subject to the official conditions.
  7. Visitor Conduct: Visitors must follow all safety instructions, signs and directions given by Nevis Range staff.
  8. Mountain Safety: Visitors should take appropriate precautions for changing mountain weather and remain on designated routes and trails.
  9. Children: Children must remain under the supervision of a responsible accompanying adult and follow all applicable activity safety requirements.
  10. Accessibility: Nevis Range provides accessible parking, accessible toilets and step-free access to the Gondola, with lift access where available. Assistance dogs are welcome.
  11. Photography & Filming: Personal photography is generally permitted. Nevis Range may also undertake filming or recording at the resort; purchasing a ticket constitutes consent to such filming, subject to the official terms.
  12. Dogs: Dogs are permitted at Nevis Range subject to the applicable site and activity rules. Owners must keep dogs under control.
  13. Personal Belongings: Visitors are responsible for their personal belongings and should take appropriate care of valuables during their visit.
  14. Activities: Additional terms and safety requirements apply to activities such as mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding and other experiences. Participants must comply with the specific conditions for the activity undertaken.
  15. Closures & Changes: Nevis Range reserves the right to change prices or suspend services without prior notice where operational, technical, weather or safety circumstances require it.
Cancellation Policy
Nevis Range Gondola tickets are non-refundable under normal circumstances. If the Gondola does not operate due to weather conditions, the ticket may be refunded or exchanged for another day, provided the request is made to the ticket office within one week of the planned visit. If the Gondola is operating, no refund will be provided, even if poor weather shortens the visitor’s trip.
