- Official Service: Gondola rides are regulated by the Municipality of Venice and must be provided by licensed gondoliers operating from authorized landing stations.
- Passenger Limit: A maximum of 5 passengers may board one gondola.
- Daytime Ride: The standard daytime fare is €90 for a 30-minute tour, generally between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
- Evening Ride: The standard evening/night fare is €110 for a 35-minute tour, generally from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM.
- Tour Duration: The stated duration may vary by a few minutes because of boat traffic, tides and weather conditions.
- Additional Services: For rides of a different duration, the fare is calculated proportionally according to the applicable official tariff.
- Safety Instructions: Passengers must follow the instructions of the gondolier and comply with applicable safety and navigation rules.
- Passenger Conduct: Passengers must behave respectfully and must not interfere with the gondolier's duties or the safe operation of the gondola.

- Personal Belongings: Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings during the ride. Large or unsuitable items may be restricted for safety reasons.

The official Venezia Unica website does not specify a standard cancellation deadline or refund percentage for ordinary gondola rides.
