  1. Valid Ticket: Visitors must have a valid ticket for the selected date, time and destination (2nd floor or Summit). Tickets are generally valid only for the conditions stated on the ticket.
  2. Ticket Changes & Refunds: Once purchased, Eiffel Tower tickets cannot generally be cancelled, exchanged, modified or refunded.
  3. Arrival Time: Visitors should arrive in advance of their scheduled entry time to allow sufficient time for security checks.
  4. Security Checks: All visitors are subject to mandatory security checks before entering the Eiffel Tower and certain areas of the monument.
  5. Prohibited Items: Large luggage and certain bulky items are not permitted. Pets are not allowed, except guide dogs for blind visitors. There is no luggage-storage facility at the Tower.
  6. Access Restrictions: Access to the Summit may be restricted or temporarily suspended due to severe weather, safety requirements or high visitor numbers.
  7. Opening Hours: Opening times may change without prior notice. Temporary closures or restrictions may occur for safety, operational or exceptional reasons.
  8. Accessibility: The Summit and stairways are not suitable for visitors with limited mobility. Visitors should select the appropriate access option when purchasing their tickets.
  9. Visitor Conduct: Visitors must comply with safety instructions, staff directions and all applicable visitor regulations while inside the monument.
  10. Ticket Authenticity: Visitors are advised to purchase tickets through the official Eiffel Tower ticket office. The official website warns against fraudulent websites and misleading “skip-the-line” claims.
Cancellation Policy
  1. Tickets cannot be cancelled, exchanged, modified, or refunded.
  2. Tickets are valid only for the floor, date, and time selected at the time of booking.
  3. Refunds are generally not provided even if tickets are lost or stolen.
  4. The Eiffel Tower may restrict or cancel visits in certain circumstances, such as operational or safety issues, with specific refund conditions applying under its terms of sale.
